Preliminary studies conducted by the University of Georgia Department of Entomology demonstrated the potential of the ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE Bite Back! Mosquito Larva Trap to attract gravid (egg laying) mosquitoes and destroy their offspring. The University of Florida Department of Entomology Nematology was commissioned to do an in-depth study of the Original Bite Back! Mosquito Larva Trap. Effectiveness of the trap was extensively evaluated. In the final thirty-day trial, each ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE trap killed over 1,500 emerging mosquitoes.
