The Original Bite Back! Mosquito Larva Trap comes packaged 4 traps to a box which is enough to cover an area of up to one acre. The Bite Back! Mosquito Larva Trap works by mimicking the natural breeding areas of all mosquitoes known to carry the West Nile Virus. Mosquitoes living in your yard are encouraged to lay their eggs in the Bite Back! trap due to its unique design and the added bait enhancer. Upon hatching, the young emerging mosquitoes are confined and killed the the Bite Back! trap, thus reducing explosive growth of the mosquito population in your yard.

 

 
  Directions:
  • Insert ascension barrier in bucket as shown.
  • Snap funnel in place, taking care to align handle holes on top rim.
  • Insert handle ends into handle holes.
  • Slowly fill with water from any source, allowing trapped air to escape.
  • Empty contents of one bait packet in bottom of each bucket.
  • Place buckets in shaded areas of the yard spacing them up to 150 feet apart.
  • Check water level every two weeks, adding water if needed.
  • Approximately once a month add new bait packet, cleaning bucket if necessary.
  • 4 traps cover an area of up to one acre.
  • In wooded or wet areas, more traps may be needed depending on conditions.
